Episode #2 ~ Zombie Love

After helping Winchester Hamilton III narrowly escape a murder charge in Hollywood, the Ragtag Misfits were looking for greener pastures. With bags in hand these lovable carnies pulled up stakes and moved on to fabulous Las Vegas. They were confident that, at the very least, they had left Detective Dunbridge and their legal problems behind them.Unfortunately, Dunbridge emerged from the crowd yet again to interrupt their Sin City performance. This time the detective made allegations that the carnival’s accountant, Frank Z. Ombie, killed Mr. Delgado over a health care dispute. It seemed that under Delgado’s management, Frank had been denied access to the medical care needed to treat his ….“condition”. Luckily, with the carnival under new management Mr. Ombie was able to find the help he needed through none other than Dino Staats, health care practitioner of tomorrow! Dino’s specially designed cure granted Frank a nearly instant recovery.Despite Detective Dunbridge closing in, Frank was seemingly oblivious for his drool was aimed in a different direction. From the moment he laid eyes on Jenn the Zombie he was smitten and would not be swayed from his pursuit. He sought council from his friend Mr. Zeppo and from Bella Luna herself. Their advice culminated in Frank using his new found “recovery” to recite Shakespeare’s Hamlet to try to win Jenn’s affections.

Regrettably, Detective Dunbridge would not be deterred from his quarry. He was getting close to the bust of a lifetime and we aren’t talking about Bella Luna’s.  With everyone gathered on stage he presented his case for the crew and the audience, only to find that Frank was performing with his band in Salt Lake City when Mr. Delgado disappeared. Detective Dunbridge did not believe Frank’s story and continued his persecution. Luckily, Jenn the Zombie, who had been doing some drooling of her own, had been there for Frank’s show. To give further evidence of his innocence Frank performed his hit single “Brains, give me”. Our beloved zombie now had his freedom and his lady love. Nyaawwwww….

Nearly beside himself Detective Dunbridge threatened to begin the search of each performer’s trailer. Having had enough of the Detective, Dino elected to do away with the search warrant Dunbridge brought with him in a sudden puff of smoke. The Detective, attempted to arrest Dino but instead found himself hypnotized and left behind in a haze.

Upon waking from his trance, Dunbridge met Mr. Zeppo’s father, Mr. Zippo. Having just escaped from prison he was looking for his son for reasons unknown. Under the guise of being a fellow carnie Detective Dunbridge is now traveling with Mr. Zippo to once again try to locate our ragtag misfits… and to take us into Episode #3….
